perhaps since he would spawn so rarely and you wouldnt' know where he is, when ever you go out and he's around a message labled "Boss Green Bag has been spoted in this area lately" so that you would know he's out there...somewhere. I could easily see people perhaps just going out to perhaps cap a boss, farm oen particular monster, etc.. and completly miss him because they didn't explore that much. You still wouldn't know where he is, simply that he's there somewhere.

uniquie (green) bags would be pretty cool, but I doubt we'll get anything uber.

I'd be happy if we had a green belt pouch that held the same amount of items as the bags do.

EDIT: why did my inner kender just cackle?

/signed on the condition that the spawn is random, within the restrictions of being confined to the later zones of the game so that it can't be easily farmed by any lucky chap who leaves the first outpost.

As a side note, this reminds me of Baldur's Gate II...

I don't understand why they keep releasing expansions but not expanding storage for those who own all current chapters. Storage was enough for me in Prophecies, but with Factions came a lot of new items, but no new space to keep them. Now we have Nightfall coming, and I have no idea how I'm going to store items I wish to keep.

Even if they don't use this idea, SOME sort of expanded storage is needed. Material storage was great, but it doesn't solve problems for those who don't collect materials.

You got 2 new character slots, which translates to... around 100 new storage slots in your bags, pouches, and backback.

I always use greens, they are cheaper and usually the best functionally wise.

I don't care if the demand is astronomically high, i'd pay a lot for these.

You all missed one factor though, Anet loves balance therefore this would have to available for those that don't use greens aswell.

/signed! My bags (on all of my characters) have been full to the seams since before Factions was released. And that's WITH a vault character. Throw us a bone here, Anet! More storage space, please!

3 hammers 4 swords 3 axes... not so many for one style...
+various golden an some custom made collector stuff
a couple of sec hand icons (for example ankh wiht healing prayers +1 20% to get +4regen from mending)
lurebow, luxon totems, id/salvage kits , dragon mask, gwen related stuff and so on
xunlai is full aswell an id hate to bother ppl saiying wait... ill jst get my storage dude an get some wepuns for this new build...

ok... got a little sidetracked there...

how about a boss loot green bag of holding... for whole 20 slots

and as its boss loot the boss would be something like treasure hunter xara (random name jst popped in my mind) which would stalk around in various places with lots of annoying evade skills an such (since he/she is not a fighter but rather a scravenger or something like that) perhaps some traps so ranger might be the class... jst roaming around randomly an not in any specific location ... or roaming some ruins perhaps?

i dont think anything would be put off balance with this since to farm this boss ud have to have played the game decently far, and it doesnt really affect dmg or armor... only ability to perfect ur pve character

only perhaps a minor loss in extra character slot sales as not so many storage dudes would be needed? (i have 3)

-perhaps even golden chest drop version for the same 20 slots and another purple for 15?
Of the two sets of armour you need one. Of the four helms you need one. Of the 11 shields you need one, perhaps two for different weapon sets. Of the ten weapons mentioned you need one, perhaps two for different weapon sets. There is now a materials section of Xunlai to remedy 95% of the storage space problem related to materials, and allowing you more room for your precious/'priceless' golden/custom items in the vault and off your character. You need one superior identification kit MAX, same with salvage (though an expert's and a common for salvaging rare and common materials is a good idea).
If you're still running out of room, sell some of your stuff!

My point: yes you can again increase the amount of storage space, but I can just see you collecting more garbage and refusing to part with it as it comes in by the truckload and before long you're here again recommending we get to kill another boss to get a key to a huge mansion where you can store everything on pedestals and display cases and never run out of room - making you sit on millions in networth without having any inkling to ever spend any and therefore driving inflation through the roof.

That was a horrible run on sentence, but it ended with a single point... however rambling it was near the end.
To sum up: yes we can get more storage when we run out, but if we keep collecting stuff we don't need we're only going to accumulate more things we don't want to part with and soon end up in the same predicament.
Your problem isn't the lack of storage, it's your self-proclaimed 'collector' status.

this is true if u always play the same type of character...

the difference as gladiator - plate mail (im about to change this to sentinel)
10 armor... u do know that 40 armor is double dmg ... following that 10 would be 25%... that is alot when u are tanking and then again for gladiator armor... warriors dot have that much energy so this alloows for some energy skills... some skills cost 25 which is 5 more than warrior max in normal armor i use some of those skills on occasion + it does give more freedom as in energy related skills in general

4 helmets(actually its 5 i forgot the 1 im wearing) -> 1 for tactics +1 1for str +1 one for axe+1 1 for sword +1 1 for hammer +1... and superior runes on each of them so i can quiqly change from hammer to sword... yea i know warriow sup rues dont cost that much but the +1 in swords say is the difference of getting 5 adrenaline from dragon slash and 8 with for great justice (then loading silverwing -galrath and again dragon slash for continous +40dmg for 20 sec) and leaving me 16 atribute points to put elsewhere... in certain skills it just makes a huge difference, well ofcource i could craft myself a new helmet 3 times a day but i dont think that is meaningful

and as to 10 shields.. they are not that important but as i said the 10 armor is alot when tanking... and i have 1 for max armor +9vs blunt, max armor +10 vs piercing, max + 9 vs water(great in shiverpeaks) (and 1 for 6 armor +5energy) ones for str and ones for tactics absorption +hp shields etc... and i do use most of them during say a week... it jst doesnt really pay to farm for something specific every time u want to change... also the healing ankh for +1 for that mending 4 (regen 1 doesnt sound that much but it is alot for say area with alot of poison u can counter it with this, in a longer fights it really is a matter of life and death)

for weapons... ive fot 1 vampiric each, +5 energy weapons, some elemental dmg (again for example warrior armor is quite commonly -20vs elemental giving these +50% dmg vs warrior) and agaain against rangers that have +35 against elemental... well ofcource use physical which does about 90% more dmg on them etc

ur armor and weapons make all the difference when u are either doing solo farm or tanking... + or minus 50%dmg mod on armor or damage is not a small thing and id say u are prety dumb if u think its all the same... i might even go as far as to say the most feared word ingame... noob

u are right... if u are minion master(actually ive tried some minion mastering as a warrior too, kindof fun but not really usable) u dont really do anything but that minion master stuff.. and u only need those weapons for minion master, but for us who like to do something else than minion master ... we need more different equipment for different scenarios... or are u suggesting i do 6 warrior characters so i will not run out of storage space?

I agree with you to a point. There are certain items that I believe are meant to be collected.....like the holiday items. I'd rather not have to trash my Pumpkin Crown, Dragon Mask, Peppermint Shield, etc. I've filled up at least a bag and half with candy cane weapons and other holiday gear from just one character.....and I had to trash a lot of the consumable holiday items I acquired because I couldn't have them taking up valuable storage space.

So I'd say there needs to be some sort of storage solution, but as you said, there needs to be a limit.

Well personally, on my monk character, I have:

Four different headsets. Don't say I only need one, it depends on what I'm playing, and which attribute line I need maxed.
Every piece of armour made twice, once with a minor rune, and once with a superior, except for one piece that has a Vigour rune on it.
Identification and salvage kits.
My weapon swaps. This one is debatable. I have about 6 different weapons, but could probably get by with less.

Total: 19 inventory slots used.

I don't put this in storage because all of my characters have similar requirements, and I also find it easier if I can switch stuff around anywhere rather than have to go to storage.

The idea is a nice one, so /signed. I like the idea of a random boss spawn even if they don't add the inventory space. Kind of like a travelling boss - can't be farmed, and could turn up to ruin a quest or a run.

Green Bag of Holding. Oh so very /signed.

Is your it your thought that it would replace one of our current bags or would it just sit inside one of our inventory slots?
